Apple iPhone^® supports both our website and its very own Mobile17 ‘Ringtone Maker’ App, available from the App Store. Follow instructions below for help installing ringtones or further technical assistance.

How to install iPhone Ringtones...

Whether you generate your iPhone ringtones via our website, or our iPhone App... you may need help installing them to your phone. Follow the instructions below to enable ringtones.

Installing ringtones from our website:

1. Download your created *.M4R iPhone ringtone-file from our website, or save it from your email.
2. Open it on your computer, it should play in iTunes.
3. Sync your phone.

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer.
2. In iTunes, select your iPhone, and then click the ‘Apps’ tab.
3. Below ‘File Sharing’, select “MakeTones” (our App) from the list, and select any of your created ringtones.
4. Click the ‘Save to...’ button, and then open the resulting file to hear it play in iTunes.
5. Sync your phone, and your ringtone will be available under ‘Settings’ → ‘Sounds’!

If your ringtones are not appearing on your iPhone after syncing, select your iPhone and make sure that ‘Sync ringtones’ and ‘All ringtones’ are both checked under the ‘Ringtones’ tab. (Next to the ‘Apps’ tab.)

Help with our iPhone App

Most issues can be resolved by restarting your phone.

To do this, hold down the Power/Sleep button and follow the instructions to completely Power-Off your handset. The App should function normally afterward. For further troubleshooting, please contact us.
