"Roll Tide" is a dramatic, militaristic piece of orchestral music composed by Hans Zimmer for the 1995 Disney film Crimson Tide.
The piece of music is widely regarded as one of Hans Zimmer's finest compositions, and its powerful, epic and Wagnerian style has often been emulated in many subsequent film scores. "Roll Tide" is also notable for its many appearances in movie trailers, including the trailers for The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Saint, Armageddon, and many others.
